HEY, I'M SONOMA
YOUR LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER

GET TO KNOW ME
MORE THAN JUST PHOTOGRAPHS
I am so glad you are here and I am excited to share a little about myself.
I was born in raised in Colorado and met my husband in college in Orange County, California. He played baseball and I played softball (typical lol). After I graduated in 2021, we moved back to Colorado and got married in September of 2021. We have two precious kids- Maverick and Oakley. My family is truly the driving force behind why I started this photography business. I am able to be a stay at home mom 95% of the time, and the other 5% I get to capture authentic photos for all of you!
We are a family who appreciates spending time outdoors whether it be snowboarding, hiking, camping and fishing. You can find me enjoying a vanilla latte, some pizza or cookie dough ice cream. We also love working out, we even built out our garage into a gym.
So now that you know a little bit more about me and my life, what about you? Sharing about myself is important because it gives you a sense of who I am not only as a photographer but as a person as well. I appreciate getting to know each of my clients' story and what makes you who you are! At the end of the day, I want to do the best I can to document you and your family in their true authenticity.
If all of this sounds good and you're ready for the next step, I'm all in!
THE REASONING BEHIND SCP:
The reason I started this business is simple: I wanted to create a space where families could relive their most precious moments through authentic, timeless photography. After experiencing the joy of capturing real, unscripted connections between loved ones, I realized how powerful and meaningful it is to preserve these fleeting moments. I’m passionate about creating images that go beyond the surface, showing the raw, beautiful emotions that make each family’s story unique. This is more than just photography for me—it’s about documenting love in its truest form.
I know how special it is to have photos that capture your family. As a mom to two little ones, life changes SO fast. Babies don't keep and having photos to document this moment in life is special.
